In today's video, I show you how I am making my quilt as you go hexagon quilt. I am using fabrics with personal meaning and including lots of hand applique and hand embroidery details. This is a slow, long term project but each hexagon is a little finish and gives you that sense of achievement to keep going! Also, once you start to join them together, the quilt can finish at any size you want and you can add to it in the future too. Some movie projects can feel a bit forced, with a bunch of random people put together and expected to make something happen. This wasn’t the case here.
