My country has been invaded by Russia. In this video I will tell you what happened on the five hundred seventy eighth day of the war. Day 578: Sep 24 Today, there are a lot of important updates from the southern line. First of all, more information became available about the Ukrainian attack on Novoprokoivka. As it turned out, the Ukrainian progress was bigger than expected. Previously, based on the footage of the fighting, it was confirmed that Ukrainians managed to push Russians away from the northern edge of the settlement. However, recently released footage by the Russian side shows that Ukrainians also entered the village from the northeast. The footage is tragic because a Russian soldier managed to get in the rear and kill 2 Ukrainian soldiers. Ukrainian military-affiliated sources circulated this footage to make sure that Ukrainian soldiers learn from this mistake. Nonetheless, the footage served as a testament that Ukrainians have expanded control over the region significantly. Last time, Russian artillery strikes on the northern part of the village confirmed that Ukrainians entered the first 2 streets from the north. By the way, the 2 Ukrainian soldiers from the video were located near these 2 buildings and were shooting in the direction of the 3rd and 4th streets, where Russians were located. But the fact that these 2 soldiers managed to get there means that Russians lost control over most, if not all, fields northeast of the settlement. First of all, it means that Russians no longer control the southern part of the small forest and the nearby tree line because this is where the Ukrainians came from. Secondly, Russians no longer control the tree lines behind the Ukrainians, otherwise, they would be shot from the back by snipers. It is important to note, that even though Russians no longer maintain a permanent presence in these areas, it doesn’t mean that Ukrainians established 100% control over them. However, it does mean that Ukrainians are capable of moving into these territories and conducting much deeper penetrations. And if we look at the topographic map, we can see that this is the part of the village that is the most important from the tactical perspective. The elevation allows Ukrainians to be in better control of the enemy movement. Recently released footage by the Ukrainian snipers that operate in the vicinity of Novoprokopivka clearly demonstrates the advantage. As it can be seen, the Ukrainian sniper is looking down on the field from the hills and easily spots Russian soldiers that stick out of shelters 1236 meters away. In order to facilitate further and easier advancement of the Ukrainian assault units in this direction, Ukrainian HIMARS crews conducted an extensive strike on the Russian bases and command centers in Tokmak. Russian sources reported that the strike lasted for an hour and a half. Multiple strikes on the same targets are made to ensure that Russian forces that are conducting rescue also get liquidated. The number of troops liquidated in subsequent strikes is usually higher when the target of the strike is a command center because Russian soldiers are ordered to rescue the officers from under the rubble. Speaking about the strikes on the Russian command centers, more information became available about the recent comprehensive strike on the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. As revealed by the satellite footage from Planet Labs, the missiles demolished the northern part of the building and hit right in the center of the western part of the building. The Head of Ukrainian Intelligence reported that Ukrainians inflicted 25 losses on the Russian military personnel, including generals. More precisely, the head of the command center, lieutenant-general Oleg Tsekov, is in a coma, and, what is even more interesting, the commander of the Russian forces in the Zaporizhzhia region coloner-general Alexandr Romanchuk is severely injured. So, virtually simultaneous strikes on the Russian command centers from Tokmak and Melitopol to Sevastopol made sure that Ukrainians liquidated the whole chain of command – from low-level commanders located close to the contact line to medium-level in the middle, to high-level located in Sevastopol. This also explains why Ukrainians conducted the strikes during the day and not as usual at night. At first, it was surprising to see that the missiles were launched at noon, however, given that Ukrainians basically targeted offices, it is logical because everyone works in the office during the day.

Ukraine’s armoured vehicles appear to have punched through Russia’s main defensive line of mines, barriers and trenches on the southern front. Geoconfirmed footage shows Marder and Stryker vehicles, both of which are used by the 82nd Air Assault Brigade, are operating behind the Surovikin Line west of Verbove in Zaporizhzhia. Infantry has already been used to clear trenches in the region, but the presence of Ukrainian armour suggests Kyiv has made it past anti-tank defences and is exploiting gaps in Russian lines. Geolocated footage last month confirmed the 82nd Brigade infantry had breached the defences installed by Sergey Surovikin, the former commander of Russia’s invasion. A video that's been making the rounds online reveals a coordinated effort between Ukraine's 12th Special Purpose Brigade of the National Guard Azov and the First Presidential Brigade, named after Hetman Petra Doroshenko. In this operation, they successfully took down a Russian T90 tank, demonstrating the effectiveness of Ukrainian anti-tank units. What's more, Ukrainian military reports indicate that on the same day, they scored accurate hits, resulting in the destruction of two Russian T-80 tanks, a T-72 tank, and more T-90 tanks. The successful destruction of the T-90M tank by Ukrainian anti-tank troops is no small feat. According to reports by Oryx, this incident brings the total tally of destroyed T-90 and similar tanks in Ukraine to at least 18 since the Russian invasion began in February of the previous year. My country has been invaded by Russia. In this video I will tell you what happened on the five hundred fiftieth day of the war. Day 550: Aug 27 Today, there are a lot of updates from the Tokmak direction. Here, after Ukrainians established total control over Robotyne, they immediately started pushing further. The main target of Ukrainians became the next village on the line – Novoprokopivka. However, the fastest way to the settlement was not the shortest. Russian forces created several fortifications between Robotyne and Novoprokopivka. Ukrainian fighters reported that they were destroying Russian personnel with regular and cluster shells in large numbers. A fighter from the 24th Assault Brigade reported that Russian daily reinforcements reached 60 trucks of troops, so Russian losses on this small section of the front line are mind-boggling. And such a desperate attempt to slow Ukrainians down is not surprising – if Ukrainians take Novoprokopivka, they will reach the second line of defense. That is why Russians are holding onto these several trench networks and regularly bomb Robotyne to prevent Ukrainians from accumulating forces enough to conduct a powerful attack. Geolocated footage confirms that bombing happens on a regular basis and some state that Russians conduct up to 8 such attacks per day. Unfortunately for Russians, Ukrainians attacked from a different direction. Due to the constant shelling of the southern part of Robotyne and continuous counterattacks from the Russian side, the Ukrainian command saw that advances in this region would come at an unnecessarily high price. Ukrainians continued imitating attacks near Robotyne to play along with Russian expectations, while in the meantime, Ukrainians gradually accumulated forces in the tree lines east of Robotyne. As Ukrainians liberated a lot of fields, Russians did not notice the accumulation of a critical number of troops until it was too late. Ukrainians started pushing south parallel to the Robotyne-Novoprokopivka line and gained ground relatively quickly. Soon, Russian sources published footage showing how Russian artillery was shelling Ukrainians more than 2 km south of the previous positions. The reason why Ukrainians managed to advance here so rapidly is simple. If we look at the topographic map, we can see that Ukrainians moved into the lowlands. Even though Ukrainians were at a tactical disadvantage, Russian forces did not create enough strong points to repel Ukrainian attacks confidently. Russians counted a lot of the mine fields, however, Ukrainians developed a great tactic to tackle this problem much more easily. As it is very hot during the day, metal absorbs this heat visibly greater than the ground. So, Ukrainians would launch drones with thermal cameras during the day to create a map of mines. This approach allowed to identify trails with virtually no mines or the point at which the mine field is very narrow. Next, Ukrainians would send demining equipment to create a safe pathway, get across the minefield, and assault Russian positions. Ukrainians here also experienced more freedom of operation, as the Russian artillery was too focused on shelling the southern part of Robotyne. After repeating the processes for several more days, Ukrainians approached Novoprokopivka from the east and conducted the first assault on the village. Two days ago, Russian sources reported that the Russians 56th and 108th regiments lost key positions in the eastern part of the village, which is why Novoprokopivka could already be considered lost. Despite the raised alarm by some Russian media sources, it is too early to consider Novoprokopivka as fallen. Nonetheless, over the last several days, the area of operation of Ukrainian forces shifted south by up to 4 km. If Ukrainians gain a stable bridgehead inside the village and push Russians out of the western side, Russian forces will automatically lose control over all trenches and fortifications north of Novoprokopivka, and, what is even more important, Ukrainians will reach the second line of defense on a 12-km section simultaneously. This is very bad news for Russians because as Ukrainians can attack any section, Russians need to stretch their forces evenly and, inevitably, thinly and keep as many troops as possible everywhere at all times. Ukrainians, in turn, just need to find or create a weak link and penetrate the line. Once passed, Ukrainians can clear the line by attacking it from 3 sides.

21 Sep: Finally! Ukrainians Annihilate Crimean Bases IN THE LARGEST DRONE STRIKE OF THE ENTIRE WAR

In this video I will tell you what happened on the five hundred seventy fifth day of the war. Day 575: Sep 21 Today, the strikes in the south reached peak intensity. Ukrainians conducted the biggest drone strike in the war, combining it with Strom Shadow missiles, while Russians launched almost half a hundred missiles in retaliation. First of all, in response to yesterday’s devastation on the Russian bases inflicted by the Ukrainian strike, Russian forces decided to respond reciprocally and retaliated with a missile strike as well. The Ukrainian General Staff reported that Russians launched 43 missiles, and that 36 of them were intercepted. Still, the remaining 7 missiles hit Ukrainian cities. The first target of the Russian strike became a substation connected to one of the Thermal Power Plants in Rivne. This was the first time in a very long time since Russians targeted Ukrainian energy infrastructure. As a result, 5 cars parked in the vicinity were damaged, and some parts of the city temporarily lost electricity. The second target became the hotel “Tsentralna” in Cherkasy. Russian sources claimed that the hotel was used as a base for foreign mercenaries, however, the abundant footage from the first moments of the strike till the end of evacuation shows that there were around 24 people in the hotel in total – all of them Ukrainian civilians. In Kyiv, Russians reportedly tried to hit the radio factory, however, judging by the hole in the ground in the backyard, the missile missed the target and fell in the residential area, damaging a lot of small houses, cars, and a dormitory. In Drohobychi, local residents reported hearing at least 3 explosions in the industrial area. Given the lack of footage, it seems like this time, Russians hit a military object, possibly a warehouse with equipment. When it comes to the good news, Ukrainians broke all records and conducted the biggest drone strike in this war. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that over the last day, they intercepted 75 drones, 19 of which in the morning and also 5 Strom Shadow missiles. In light of the abundance of footage of explosions, the analysts concluded that Ukrainians launched more than 100 drones and up to 2 dozen of missiles. The main target of the strike became the Russian airfield in Novofedorivka. Ukrainian Intelligence reported that at the moment of the strike, Russians had 12 fighter jets of various types and one air defense Pantsir. The airfield is also used as a training base for operators of drones Mojaher, so there were a lot of aerial targets. We have seen footage of explosions from drone strikes in this region already yesterday, however, this was just to exhaust and overload the Russian air defense prior to a missile strike. In fact, in order to create a safe passage, Ukrainians also sent groups of drones to Rozdolne, Daleke, and Mizhvodne from the north and Belbek airfield and Sevastopol from the west. After that, Ukrainians launched Neptune missiles at the airfield. As a result, it was reported that Russian aviation suffered significant damage and destruction. Some Russian sources also mentioned that Russians also lost at least 30 soldiers. Later, the Ukrainian General Staff confirmed that they conducted a combined attack on the airfield. Nonetheless, this was not the only successful strike today. Geolocated footage suggests that a lot of targets were hit around Sevastopol as well. So far, there is not enough information regarding the target of this strike, however, more information became available about yesterday’s strike in this place. Recently released satellite footage from Planet Labs shows the aftermath of the Strom Shadow strike on the command post of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. Ukrainian Intelligence reported that this was communication center number 744 of the Russian command. The Russian command used this previously abandoned base instead of the main one because Ukrainians already hit their main headquarters with the drones in the past. Unfortunately for Russians, the safety measures did not help. By the way, after evacuating all of their submarines from Sevasotopol, Russians started evacuating all assault landing ships, so it looks like Crimea no longer has its fleet, and after today – also aviation. In the meantime, Ukrainians conducted a precision strike on another Russian command center – this time in Melitopol. Ukrainian Intelligence found out that Russians started using a former engine factory, communicated this information to the Air Force, and together destroyed it. As a result, dozens of officers were killed and dozens hospitalized, including the commander of the Russian 58th Army.

3 Sep: UNBELIEVABLE FIASCO! Russians SINK THEIR OWN SHIPS Helplessly | Ukraine War News Ukrainian Forces have developed and fielded a top secret weapon to destroy the Kerch bridge, Russia's most important supply line and sink Russian warships from far away. The Russians have almost no chance against this weapon. Just before this secret breakthrough that will pave the way to victory for Ukraine, let's take a brief look at the hot spots and breaking points on the front lines. Today we have good news from all fronts of Ukraine. Ukrainian forces are slowly advancing on the southern flank of Bakhmut. Ukrainian forces are successfully repelling Russian counterattacks here. At the moment the most intense fighting on the Eastern front is taking place near Bakhmut, Kurdyumivka, Yahidne and Andriivka. On all eastern fronts, Russian attacks have been successfully repulsed and the Russians have retreated with heavy losses. In addition, Ukrainian forces are marginally advancing south of Klishchiivka, 6 km southwest of Bakhmut. Today we see the most critical successes in the Zaphorizhia area, where Ukrainian forces are making very serious progress. Ukrainian forces made successful advances on the lines Novodanylivka - Novopokropivka and Mala Tokmachka -Verbove (7-18 km southeast of Orikhiv). Ukrainian light infantry, reconnaissance elements of the Ukrainian forces, infiltrated east of the Russian field fortifications near Verbove. Footage released by the Ukrainian Forces on Wednesday shows Ukrainian infantry on the northwestern outskirts of Verbove, indicating that Russia's defenses are weakening there. Russian forces have been forced to retreat from various heights in the area. Ukrainian military officials emphasized that this week's liberation of the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region was a strategic victory and paved the way for their forces to advance south towards Crimea. In our previous video, we described in full detail this critical advance of the Ukrainian forces and the successful breakthrough of the main Russian defense line, which is full of minefields and dragon's teeth. Now we will show you how the Ukrainian Forces have developed a new secret weapon to seize control of Crimea and the Black Sea, how it will be used on the front line and what impact it will have on the Russians. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are changing the rules of warfare with an army of drones. It is possible to see the effects of this in all clash zones from Azov to the Black Sea and the southern front lines of Ukraine. The Ukrainians, who have taken control of this issue, are preparing a surprise scenario for the collapse of the Russian navy. The most effective area of this surprise scenario is currently the Crimean peninsula. Ukraine is especially threatening Crimea by using its drone army. However, Kiev, which has made critical changes in its drone army, now wants to corner the Russian navy not over the water but under the sea. To this end, Ukrainian forces are constantly targeting strategic ports of the Russian navy in Crimea. Last time we witnessed a first in history on the peninsula. Ukrainian forces captured Crimea with 42 drones. Even Sevastopol, one of the most important port cities of the peninsula, was affected by the Simferopol-based drone attack. There is still a constant threat to the Kerch Bridge off the Black Sea. After the sinking of the Russian Navy's Vasily Boykov and the tanker ship SIG by Ukrainian naval drones, Ukrainians continued to threaten attacks off Kerch. The Russians have started to try foolish tactics to avoid or defend against this threat. Aerial photographs show that the Russians are using barges near the bridge to Crimea to protect the Kerch Strait Bridge against maritime threats. Satellite images from August 29 and 30 show Russian forces sinking the barges, presumably to prevent naval drones from attacking boats near the bridge or the bridge itself. Over the last few days, both drones and naval drones have allegedly been spotted off the Kerch Bridge and the Black Sea. Currently, the sound of drones is said to echo almost every day near Sevastopol. These signs are not taken too seriously by the Russians. But the Ukrainian side has repeatedly proved the importance of this issue with airstrikes in Crimea and around the peninsula. Not only with drones, but also with western long-range missiles, the Ukrainians are constantly threatening the Russian navy in Crimea and the Kerch Bridge. However, as we told you recently, the Ukrainians announced that they have achieved a historic success, especially in the field of naval drones. Ukrainian officials have announced that they can hit the Russian Navy from a range of about 800 kilometers. In line with these statements, Ukraine unveiled a 20-meter-long underwater drone to attack Russian warships from under the sea.

My country has been invaded by Russia. In this video I will tell you what happened on the five hundred sixty second day of the war. Day 562: Sep 08 Today there are a lot of updates from the Tokmak direction. First of all, Russian sources reported that Russian forces launched yet another massive counterattack in the direction of Robotyne. This time the attack came from the south because as some Russian war correspondents claimed, Russian forces operated north of Novoprokopivka. As a result, Russian sources once again claimed that Ukrainians were completely pushed out of Robotyne, Russians established complete fire control over the region, and the village became an uninhabitable grey zone. Recently, the Russian Ministry of Defense also claimed that during the last 3 months of the counteroffensive, Ukrainians lost 66 thousand troops and 7600 tanks and armored fighting vehicles. Even the vast majority of Russian analysts concluded that the numbers are absurdly exaggerated, and asked the Ministry of Defense to reconsider their approach to presenting information. The exaggeration is apparent because, first of all, Ukrainians did not even have so many troops and vehicles engaged in the counteroffensive. And secondly, in order to visualize the sheer number of 7600 tanks and armored fighting vehicles, imagine placing tanks back to back in a line – now, in order to fit all these tanks between Robotyne and the initial contact line, which is more than 4 km, you would have to create more than 10 rows of destroyed equipment. It seems like the Russian Ministry of Defense is trying to conduct an information operation, primarily targeting the Russians. The goal of this information operation is to overshadow their own losses of equipment, and conceal the failure to hold the second line of defense, which was recently breached near Verbove. In reality, today’s Russian counterattack had very mild progress – Russian forces managed to push Ukrainians just from one field south of Robotyne. None of the Russian sources also mentioned anything about recapturing the powerful fortifications on a hill south of Robotyne that play a key role and allow to control the whole region, so Russians did not capture any strong points that would allow them to retain even these mild gains. Some less prominent Russian sources gave more details about the operation and reported that the Russian assault unit got under heavy Ukrainian artillery fire, and tried to retreat. However, what was not mentioned is that Russian forces were not allowed to retreat. After the battle had ended, Ukrainians captured one wounded Russian marine from the 810th Marine Brigade. The Russian soldier claimed that when his unit decided to retreat, their own artillery started firing right behind them, creating a fire wall in the back, and forcing the soldiers to stay and fight for the positions. Eventually, that was what got him wounded and his friends killed. He said that he had no doubt that it was not an error because the artillery was hitting correct targets initially, and only after they started retreating, the shelling shifted towards them. All of this was happening under the constant supervision of Russian drones that were constantly correcting the fire. Such an attitude is not surprising. The fortifications south of Robotyne were virtually impossible to breach from the side of Robotyne, and were supposed to stop the Ukrainian advancement. However, not only did Ukrainians capture them, they also did it quite easily because they ambushed the Russian troops during rotation. The commanders of the brigade and division responsible for this region were likely harshly punished, and received an order to fix the situation at any cost. Overall, Ukrainians managed to retain control over the crucial fortifications and rebuff all attacks. In the meantime, the Russian troops found themselves in between two fires because the moment they stop moving towards Ukrainians, they risk being killed by their own forces in the back, that were supposed to help. Such an approach is unlikely to motivate and raise the morale of the soldiers. If Russians continue doing it, they will exhaust their defensive capabilities much faster, leaving the defense line understaffed, and creating perfect conditions for a Ukrainian breakthrough.

My country has been invaded by Russia. In this video I will tell you what happened on the five hundred sixty fourth day of the war. Day 564: Sep 10 Today, there are a lot of new developments in the Tokmak direction. As Ukrainians secured the road to Robotyne, they started to ramp up their offensive operation in all directions. The first direction of advancement became Kopani. The goal of Ukrainians here is to demolish the remnants of the first defense line to gain more freedom of movement inside the bridgehead. As you can see, if Ukrainians broke the Robotyne-Verbove section of the first line of defense long ago, then the Robotyne-Kopani section remained virtually intact, constricting the movement of the Ukrainian assault units. If yesterday, Ukrainians were confirmed to capture up to 3 Russian trench networks west of Robotyne by attacking them from the village itself, then today, according to Russian sources, Ukrainians opened additional lines of attack from the north and successfully gained more ground. Ukrainian sources published combat footage showing how several Leopards 2A6 were undermining the Russian defense in the tree lines before the infantry assault by demolishing it with high-explosive shells. The moment Ukrainians saw the explosion of the first Russian artillery shell, they retreated, never giving the Russians time to correct their fire and destroy Leopards. However, this was already enough, and after a series of assaults, Russians were pushed out of multiple positions. Shortly after that, Ukrainian fighters released a video of how they were evacuating a stuck Russian tank, which suggests that those fields that were previously in the grey zone are now under total Ukrainian control. But this was just the beginning. Today, Ukrainians also conducted a tank raid on Novoprokopivka. Recently released combat footage gave a lot of insights into what was actually happening on the ground. It looks like the tanks entered the area right after artillery preparation, which successfully blew up small Russian ammunition depots in the shelters. After the tanks cut the distance and got close to the tree line, one of them tried to go as much through the line as possible and also along the tree line from the Ukrainian side. This is a very prudent move because it causes detonations of anti-personnel mines and creates safe trails for the infantry that is going to enter this region after the tanks. The hardest part is to get there safely, and Ukrainian fighters will have a lot of cleared ground from the safest side. Once the infantry is there, they will be able to gradually demine the whole tree line. The tanks also looked for intact shelters or any fortifications that could present a threat, especially to the infantry, and made sure that everything was demolished. Soon, the tree line was cleared. However, Ukrainians did not stop here and moved further. As they got closer to the new positions, the tanks became in direct view of one of the Russian ATGM positions. Unfortunately for the Russians, the missile missed the target. A Ukrainian drone operator immediately identified the area from where the missile was launched and gave the coordinates to both the artillery and tank crews. The ATGM position was quickly suppressed, if not completely demolished, and Ukrainians decided to continue their movement even deeper. Shortly, they got right in front of the village of Novoprokopivka and opened fire on the Russians inside the village. The standing tanks became a perfect target, and the Russians took another try to destroy them. Fortunately, the Ukrainian drone operator was extremely vigilant, noticed the Russian kamikaze drone, and immediately told the crew. The drone missed the target as well. After all objectives were achieved, the tank crews returned to the base. After the tank raid was completed, Ukrainian infantry conducted a clearing operation and established total control over new positions. One fighter showed that his unit collected a whole trunk of equipment in the trenches. Another fighter filmed a video on the contact line between Robotyne and Novoprokovka. Because of the necessity to cross an open space, the reconnaissance unit had to always be running. The fighter said that the area is being surveilled, and some sections of the trail are not only densely mined but also under sniper control. The fact that the fighter published the video means that he safely returned and the operation was likely successful.

My country has been invaded by Russia. In this video I will tell you what happened on the five hundred forty seventh day of the war. Day 547: Aug 24 Today there is a lot of good news. First of all, more information became available about the crush of the private jet that reportedly killed the Head of the Wagner Group, Evgeniy Prigozhin, his right hand, Dmytro Utkin, and the Head of Security, Valery Chekalov. Today, the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency confirmed that Prigozhin was present on the board, according to the records. Moreover, the investigators of the crush have just found the remnants of Prigozhin’s mobile phone. In the meantime, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, commented on the crush. Putin expressed his condolences to the families of those who died in the crush and added that despite the fact that Prigozhin had a troubled fate, he was a very useful person who helped to achieve a lot of goals. Russian media has also started promoting a new version of the cause of the crush. Despite the fact that the locals heard two explosions and saw contrails, characteristic of air defense work, it was claimed that the crush likely happened due to the explosion inside the plane, possibly sabotage. It was reported that the plane recently underwent some out-of-schedule reparations when someone could have planted an explosive device. But the biggest news today is that Ukrainian forces landed on the Crimean shore. Today in the morning, around 5 a.m., Ukrainians reportedly used up to 4 boats carrying GUR special forces and carried out a special operation in Cape Tarkhankut. By the way, this is exactly where the same forces yesterday destroyed a Russian air defense system, reportedly by launching an anti-ship missile from a boat. The target of the special forces became the base of the Russian radio-radar troops, where Russians forces have powerful multi-functional radar systems, such as Nebo-M, and modern radar systems for low-level surveillance, such as Kasta 2E. Russian sources reported that Ukrainians managed to land on the shore and opened fire at the Russian forces. Russian sources admitted that Ukrainians raised their flag above the settlement, as could be seen from the combat footage, however, they claimed that Russians forces were ready to meet the attackers, quickly returned fire from machine guns, and destroyed all 4 boats and crew members. Unfortunately for Russians, later released footage confirms that Ukrainian boat crews safely withdrew. Even Russian military bloggers reacted to this with harsh skepticism and said that this was a lame attempt to cover up the complete lack of protection of Crimea. Moreover, some less prominent Russian sources released footage from the base, clearly showing that Russians were not prepared to be ambushed at night at all. The Spokesman for Ukrainian Intelligence confirmed that Ukrainian special forces indeed landed on the Crimean shore, attacked Russian forces, damaged 4 Russian boats, killed 30 Russian troops, raised the Ukrainian flag, and withdrew before Russians understood what was happening. The landing on Crimea is especially symbolic because today, Ukrainians are celebrating the Independence Day of Ukraine. In the meantime, Ukrainian forces conducted more than a dozen successful strikes on the Russian bases. The Ukrainian General Staff reported that the Ukrainian Air Force and Artillery jointly struck 4 command posts, 10 areas of enemy forces concentrations, 4 air defense systems, and 2 artillery systems. The biggest strike happened in Tokmak. It was reported that here, as a result of the HIMARS strike, Ukrainians destroyed an important Russian command post on the territory of a Russian base. This is extremely important given that Tokmak is the closest Russian stronghold to the front, where Ukrainians recently breached Russian defense and established total control over Robotyne. In fact, today, Ukrainian fighters reported that Ukrainians are already advancing on the next settlement on the line – Novoprokopivka – while Russian forces are retreating. The derangement of the command on this front line will exacerbate the situation even more and possibly allow Ukrainians to generate new gains much more easily.

My country has been invaded by Russia. In this video I will tell you what happened on the five hundred fifty third day of the war. Day 553: Aug 30 Today, there are a lot of important updates. First of all, when it comes to the most successful Ukrainian strike, more information became available about the level of destruction of the Russian bases. Today, local Russian residents released more footage from the Russian strategic airfield in the Pskov region, which clearly shows a burning airlifter IL-76. The narrator also mentioned that the second aircraft was burning simultaneously as well. If yesterday Russian sources claimed that Ukrainians damaged 4 aircraft, then today some sources mentioned that 6 aircraft IL-76 were actually damaged. The spokesman for Ukrainian Intelligence commented on the situation and confirmed that Ukrainian forces indeed conducted a major attack with the goal of destroying some of the most advanced and precious strategic aircraft. He also said that 4 aircraft were completely destroyed and cannot be repaired, while the number of damaged aircraft is still being determined. Recently released satellite footage helped in determining the extent of the damage. Judging by the black marks on the fuselage of the aircraft and several firefighting vehicles, there are at least 2 more aircraft damaged. However, the weather was cloudy, and most of the airfield could not be seen, so it is quite possible that the level of losses is much higher, especially given that Ukrainians struck the airfield in several waves, targeting different parts of the airfield. The Russian media sources discussed this event in disbelief, claiming that it is impossible to cross more than 700 km without being detected, which is why they concluded that the attack was conducted by the Baltic states on behalf of Ukraine and claimed that they needed to be wiped out. Others said that the Russian air defense could not be so weak along the border with enemies, so the drones must have crossed the territory of Belarus with the prior approval of Lukashenko. Both versions are extremely unlikely, especially given that Ukrainian drones are targeting Russian bases around Moscow on a regular basis. By the way, that is why Russians started introducing some changes to these bases. Recently released satellite footage shows some of the Russian strategic bombers Tu-22m3 with atypical camouflage. The analysts concluded that Russians just glued the camo to confuse Ukrainian drones that are equipped with aiming systems based on visual identification of targets by size. The camouflage supposedly does not allow for the identification of the sizes properly, causing the drones to miss their targets. The method is very dubious, but it is still a testament to the fact that Ukrainian drones destroyed a noticeable number of bombers. The strikes also continue today. The first target of the strike became the Bryansk region. Russian sources reported that Ukrainians attempted to destroy a connection tower but that the Russian air defense shot down all drones. The footage, however, indicates that some drones reached their destination. But the biggest news comes from the Tokmak direction. Just several days ago, we were talking about how Ukrainians reached the second line of defense, and today, Ukrainian fighters from the 82nd and 47th Brigades have already breached it. Russian sources reported that Ukrainians basically ignored the region, where Russians deployed thousands of troops over the last few days and conducted a powerful attack in the direction of Verbove. Geolocated footage shows how Russians are shelling the northern part of Verbove, which indicates that Ukrainians are already storming the settlement. Such a development indicates that Russians lost control over 6 km of trenches virtually in one day. And these trenches were supposed to be the main and the most powerful fortifications that were supposed to stop the Ukrainian advancement completely. Right now, Ukrainians are trying to consolidate control over as many fortifications as possible. If Ukrainians manage to hold the ground and repel Russian counterattacks, the second line of defense will collapse completely.

In northeastern Ukraine, Russian forces have intensified attacks on Kupyansk near the Russian border. Russia occupied the city for 6 months before being pushed out. Now they want to take it again. Ukrainian authorities earlier this month ordered the evacuation of Kupyansk and surrounding areas. DW’s Aya Ibrahim accompanied a Red Cross unit as they went door to door, trying to persuade civilians to leave. Meanwhile Ukraine is trying to push Russian forces farther south as the country continues its counteroffensive. After weeks of fighting, Ukrainian forces have broken through Russian defensive lines in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southeast to retake more territory. On Monday, Kyiv's defense ministry announced it had fully reclaimed the village of Robotyne. But Kyiv's advances have been slow as they push through Russia's heavily fortified positions and vast minefields. My country has been invaded by Russia. In this video I will tell you what happened on the five hundred fifty second day of the war. Day 552: Aug 29 Today, there is a lot of news. Several hours ago, Ukrainians conducted one of the biggest strikes on strategic bases deep inside the Russian Federation, and judging by the reports, it has already become the most successful Ukrainian strike. The first target of the strike became the base of the Russian 334th regiment, which is near the main airfield in the Pskov region, 700 km from Ukraine. In total, Ukrainians conducted 3 waves of attacks. The first wave consisted of only 2 drones, which the Russian air defense shot down near the airfield. Ukrainians understood that the chosen trajectory was perfect, as the drones successfully crossed 700 km without being detected, so Ukrainians immediately launched the second wave. The second wave consisted of at least 10 drones. Local residents reported that the drones were flying in one line, with equal distance between each other. Locals also reported hearing several explosions far from the base, which indicates that the Russian air defense managed to intercept several drones, but it was not enough, and the drones finally reached the airfield. Geolocated footage shows how Russians are resorting to machine guns in their last attempt to protect the airfield, but it did not help much. As a result, there was a huge explosion, and the fire broke out on the territory of the airfield. Russian sources reported that 2 strategic airlifters IL-76 were damaged, and the main fuel depot was destroyed. Some Ukrainian sources reported that the explosion was actually from an ammunition depot, the fire was from the fuel depot, and that more aircraft were damaged. Russian analysts started blaming the people who filmed the air defense work and posted footage of how close the drones got. They also asked people not to post the footage from the second wave, especially the areas that Ukrainians successfully hit, but it was already too late. Ukrainian forces launched the third wave of drones and adjusted the trajectory to hit new areas. Soon, explosions were heard and recorded on the base, and Russian sources reported that 2 more strategic airlifters IL-76 were destroyed. The locals reported that there were at least 10 more explosions on the territory of the airfield, which means that the level of destruction and losses are likely much higher. When the third wave ended, Russians started to panic and introduced Edelweiss Plan in the whole region. Russian forces surrounded the airfield, restricting access even nearby, while others started organizing an urgent evacuation of those strategic airlifters IL-76 that were left. By the way, IL-76 played a key role in slowing down the Ukrainian counteroffensive in the Kharkiv region last year. These strategic airlifters are designed to deliver heavy machinery, so Russians used them to deliver tanks and armored fighting vehicles non-stop, which allowed them to save the situation around Svatove and Kreminna. So, the destruction of these aircraft will not allow Russians to repeat the same in the future. Simultaneously, Ukrainians struck another base in the Pskov region. This time, the target became the base of the 104th airborne regiment, which was one of the main forces during the first stage of the invasion. After the Ukrainians were done with the Pskov region, Ukrainians also launched an attack on the Bryansk region. Russian sources reported that Ukrainians launched two drones and that these drones were successfully intercepted. Unfortunately for Russians, it was once again the first wave of attacks. Later, local residents filmed how several drones exploded somewhere in the vicinity of the oil depot Druzhba. Judging by the available at the moment footage, there were at least two successful hits. But this was not the end. The fourth target of the Ukrainian strike became Russian military objects in the Tula region. Russian sources once again reported that there were 2 drones that the air defense successfully shot down, while the locals published footage of the explosions somewhere outside the town, where Russian military bases are located. Overall, Ukrainians conducted a large-scale strike on the Russian bases from Pskov to Crimea and were successful in every single case. This is the result of weeks of trial launches for creating a precise map of the Russian air defense systems.

8 Sep: Ukrainians WIPED OUT HUGE RUSSIAN ASSAULT GROUP in 1 Cluster Munition Strike! | Ukraine War Eastern Ukraine remains the most critical point in the war. Ukrainian armed forces are overcoming Russian fortifications on the southern front lines and breaking the Russian defense line. This breakthrough of the Ukrainian army is alarming the Russian troops. The Russian military is resorting to various means to block the Ukrainian armed forces and prevent them from advancing further. The most prominent solution that senior Russian military officials have come up with is to deploy more troops to the southern front line. But we know that the year-and-a-half-long war in Ukraine has significantly weakened Russian troop numbers. Nevertheless, Russian commanders are driving mixed groups of elite troops and ill-equipped soldiers towards the southern front line. By focusing all their attention on the south, the Russians neglect the eastern front. Taking advantage of this situation, the Ukrainian armed forces are accelerating their advance on the eastern front line. Western munitions are the biggest help for the Ukrainians who want to corner the Russian army with fierce clashes on the eastern axis. The cluster munitions supplied by the United States to the Ukrainian armed forces have sparked controversy, but they have contributed greatly to Kiev's success. The importance of cluster munitions became clear once again the other day. Let's explore the details of the role of Western munitions in the Ukrainian war and see how this has devastated the Russian army. Yesterday, Ukrainian forces neutralized Russian infantry with cluster munitions near the village of Klishchiyivka in the Bakhmut direction. The military's combat work in this area was revealed by DeepState project analysts. 155 mm M864 cluster shells are used to defeat the Russian infantry. The fire is adjusted thanks to a reconnaissance aircraft equipped with a thermal imager. The Russian position shelled by US artillery shells is located between the villages of Klishchiyivka and Opytne. The video shows how the submunitions explode in a circular pattern, the effect of US M864 cluster bombs. 72 grenades of the M864 were placed inside the projectile. These are 48 small M42 HEAT-Frag grenades and 24 larger M46. When submunitions scatter and explode in a circle, they create a continuous field of destruction and fragmentation. This is why the impact zone of the cluster shells looks like a circle. Recently, Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that the Defense Forces intend to liberate the settlement in the near future. Seeking to take advantage of the neutralization of Russian troops with cluster munitions, the Ukrainian armed forces demolished the crossing gate in the area. In the Bakhmut area near Klishchiivka, a Russian crossing with armored vehicles was destroyed. The crossing was discovered by Ukrainian reconnaissance drones adjusting artillery fire. The position was defeated by the 45th Artillery Brigade. This bridge crossing was supposed to help the Russians move their armored vehicles towards Klishchiivka, south of Bakhmut. Several infantry fighting vehicles of the invaders were destroyed near the crossing. Another destroyed and abandoned infantry fighting vehicle was shown by Territorial Defense soldiers near Klishchiivka. This position is located near the destroyed Russian bridge crossing. Ukrainian analyst Roman Bochkala published a video of the National Guard of Ukraine featuring a burning Russian tank near Klishchiivka. The caption of the video says that the aerial reconnaissance of the Ukrainian National Guard showed that a tank burned and exploded in Klishchiivka. It is also worth noting that two destroyed infantry fighting vehicles are standing next to the defeated tank. As previously reported, in late August Ukrainian forces defeated Russian armored vehicles attempting to advance near Klishchiivka. On the other hand, Ukrainian troops successfully destroyed artillery and rocket artillery of the occupiers in Donetsk and Kharkiv regions. The American M142 HIMARS rocket system and unmanned aerial vehicles were used in the artillery attack. 2S19 Msta-S, 2S5 Giatsint-S self-propelled howitzers and BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers were attacked. The army destroyed a 2S19 Msta-S self-propelled howitzer in Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region. After the attack, the invaders' self-propelled howitzer caught fire and then exploded, completely destroying the howitzer. US M142 HIMARS rocket systems were used against Russian artillery in the Donetsk region. BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers were hit. A 152 mm 2S5 Giatsint-S self-propelled howitzer was also destroyed in the Donetsk region. It was eliminated due to an octocopter converted to use ammunition.

My country has been invaded by Russia. In this video I will tell you what happened on the five hundred forty ninth day of the war. Day 549: Aug 26 Today, there are a lot of important updates from the Kherson region. Last time, I told you that Ukrainians identified an area where Russians relocated mobilized troops who turned out to be completely unfamiliar with the region, immediately exploited it by focusing on hunting down the inexperienced forces, and after the Russian battalion lost up to 25% of its personnel, Ukrainians conducted a landing operation, breached the Russian defense, and even took captive the commander of this battalion. At first, Ukrainians were successfully advancing and even took half of the village of Kozachi Laheri. A Ukrainian presence on the eastern bank of the river put significant pressure on the Russian commanders to resolve the issue by any means. Most of the Russian reserves came from the south and arrived at Pidstepne. Unfortunately for Russians, just increasing the number of troops was not enough, as Ukrainians have a tactical advantage – the western bank of the river is much higher, which is why it allows to control the Russian movement near the river completely. Geolocated footage shows how Ukrainian drone operators started destroying the inflowing reserves before they even got to their positions. Ukrainians released multiple videos of how they blew up Russian cars to the north of Pidstepne. Russians lost so much equipment due to drone strikes that they brought into the region an armored recovery vehicle, BREM-1, to evacuate damaged equipment and an air defense system against low-flying aircraft. Both pieces of equipment were also destroyed by Ukrainian drones. In order to complicate Russian counterattacks, Ukrainians also conducted a HIMARS strike and destroyed a Russian ammunition depot. Nonetheless, Russians continued to push and soon outnumbered Ukrainians at least 10 to 1. Ukrainian commanders had to reevaluate the situation. The commanders discovered that in an attempt to stabilize the situation around Kozachi Laheri, Russian forces made a large overcorrection and increased the concentration of forces in this sector at the expense of other directions, so after holding the bridgehead for almost a week, Ukrainians withdrew from the central part and immediately attacked Russians to the north and south. This was a very good decision that immediately brought results. Russian troops on the islands were left virtually with no artillery, mortars or drones. Such a setting allowed Ukrainians to conduct raids virtually with impunity – Ukrainians would launch artillery preparation, force Russians to hide while they got to the island on boats, assaulted their positions, and even took captives. Russian soldiers became so desperate in the face of certain death that they started flooding Russian military bloggers with reports and evidence and asking them to raise this question as soon as possible in hopes that the public pressure would force the commander of the 205th Brigade to finally do something about it. And the Russian commander of the 205th Brigade has already become notorious for killing some of the best fighters in suicidal assaults near the Antonivskyi Bridge. Russian soldiers revealed that the average lifespan of a company under such conditions became 2 days, and Russians were losing more than 50 troops per day due to the constant raids. And all commanders of the companies who refused to send their troops on a one-way trip were immediately fired. One company stood up for their commander, but now they are facing criminal charges for mutiny. Another commander who tried to evacuate his troops from the island was not only stopped but sent to a psychiatric hospital. Russian analysts said that such an unbelievable mess was caused by the brigade and battalion commanders, who got their positions not because of their military experience, which they do not have, but because they never challenge the instructions given by the Russian Ministry of Defense, always produce good reports, and are excellent at hiding real losses. This is extremely good news for Ukrainians, who are exploiting this opportunity to the fullest extent. The goal here is to push the whole Russian 205th Brigade to the point where it completely loses its combat capability. This will either force Russians to relocate troops from the Tokmak direction, or Russians will lose control over the eastern bank of the river entirely.

The southeastern settlement of Robotyne has been liberated, Ukraine says. Ukrainian forces raised the national flag in the settlement last week, but said they still had mopping up operations to do. Our defence and security analyst Professor Michael Clarke explains the village is on high ground, along a ridge running north to south. Tokmak is the next major target and will be a "big battle" to watch out for. #ukrainepilotsdeaths #ukrainewar #skynews SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube channel for more videos: 🤍 Follow us on Twitter: 🤍 Like us on Facebook: 🤍 Follow us on Instagram: 🤍 Follow us on TikTok: 🤍 For more content go to 🤍 and download our apps: Apple 🤍 Android 🤍 Sky News Daily podcast is available for free here: 🤍 Sky News videos are now available in Spanish here/Los video de Sky News están disponibles en español aquí: 🤍 To enquire about licensing Sky News content, you can find more information here: 🤍
