I'd bet money that Baylan is searching for the Bindu, and that there is a Bindu living on Peridea.
Thrawn wishes to escape the Bindu and the night sisters left their home-world fleeing the Bindu. There has to be a reason why Peridea was abandoned.
Peridea has to be some kind of cosmic focal point, as Lothal was. The night-sister's magic is stronger on planets that are located on these focal points. That is why they settled on Dathomir.
I think Baylan is not Sith. I think he is a Jedi Temple Guardian (yellow lightsaber) , and that he fought in the Clone Wars as a general , as many other Guardians did.
I think Baylan can use Vaapad just like Mace Windu, and he may have been Mace Windu's padawan. This would result in him having an Orange Light sabre (yellow tainted with red).
I Think Baylan has rejected the ways of the Jedi and sees that the Jedi and Sith are both wrong and both failures and he is seeking to master both sides of the Force. This is why he is seeking out the Bindu. It is possible that Ezra, has interacted with the Bindu on Peridea.
That's my theory !
And now Thrawn is surrounded by the magic of the nightsisters. He has adapted from this encounter with Bendu
The Bendu feels like such a Tolkein level of character. I wish we could have gotten more of him.
One of the few Living Beings With True Immortality and the Ability Manifest Himself and Disappear at will
Could say thrawn would be a star wars Equivalent to a 12th Level Intellect
One thing is sure. The Bendu will appear where and when it wants to.
So real question. That no one has asked, can Bender, bend a Bendo?
And are the related to uncle Ben spider man or Ben Kenobi?
Force maybe is an absurb thing for thrawn to calculate
Great insight into a complicated character. He’s even more complex in the original Timothy Zahn trilogy from the 90s.
What if the Bendut’s prophecy off all the hands wrapping Thrawn was not referring to the end of Rebels rather Thrawn’s defeat in the crossover movie and the arms refer to the Rebel Crew, Ashoka, Grogu, Mando, etc.?
I love learning from this channel, but my dude repeats himself at least 3-5 times in every video. You said Thrawn’s greatest weakness is not understanding about 5 times. Just changed the wording a bit
I couldn't even focus on what was actually being said cuz blud couldn't stop saying THE bendu. It's ok to just call him by his name without the cringe. Holy shit.
I hope this makes him evolve his ways, maybe we'll see him even more powerful. Who knows maybe thrawn can train his own force wielder's as he may not be able to beat the creature but does he have to defeat it when he can forge weapons, force weapons such as Jedi and sith but of his own design. Could thrawn find a way to create true balance Force users loyal to him and his people?
Looks like chopper's monster point pre-time skip
Maybe Thrawn feared The Bendu because The Bendu was a potential threat to the Empire.
The real thing that Thrawn is afraid of:
Plot Armor
He should have feared the Noghri, too.
this video annoys me It did not need to be eight minutes long you just kept repeating yourself bad video script
Rebels is the best thing disney has done with star wars.
